Tops:
Coronado units feature a straight grain slip matched cherry veneer top
with hardwood rims and miter corners. Tops are of a 5-ply balance panel
construction. Top thickness 13/16”
FINISH:
Paoli’s multi-step catalyzed varnish finish utilizes the latest in
technology. The superior strength of Paoli’s tech-age finish provides
enhanced stain and mar resistance for lasting beauty and easy
maintenance. Coronado is shipped in low luster pearl Golden Cherry,
Traditional Cherry, Cordovan Cherry, Mahogany on Cherry, Light Cherry,
Java Cherry, Shaker Cherry or Natural Cherry unless otherwise specified.
VENEER:
Genuine flat sliced cherry veneers, selectively slip matched on all
surfaces to provide proper consistency. Tops are plain book matched
cherry.
CHASSIS
CONSTRUCTION:
All Coronado desk chassis feature lock miter construction with parting
rails. The exception to this are the 3672 and 3066 desk units, which
have lap joint construction with parting rails. All credenza chassis
feature lap joint construction. The chassis is reinforced with solid
hardwood cleats screwed to the top, pedestal ends and modesty panel.
Base molding on all units are constructed of solid hardwood. All base
units have adjustable leveling
glides to compensate for uneven floor surfaces.
DRAWER
CONSTRUCTION:
Box and File drawers are built as separate units for strength and
durability. Drawer fronts are attached separately.
DRAWER SUSPENSION:
File drawers utilize a heavy duty full extension metal ball bearing
slide for smooth operation. Box drawers operate on full extension
slides allowing full access to the drawer.
FILE DRAWERS:
Letter width file drawers accommodate letter or legal filing. Legal
width desk file drawers provide legal filing front to back or double
letter filing side to side eliminating any unusable space .
LOCKING:
Central locking is standard for all desks. The Paoli system utilizes a
unique rotating cam which prevents the locking cables from binding or
kinking for longer trouble free service. Pedestal locking is standard
on all credenzas and returns.
Molding:
Molding features four molding options on most units. Perimeter and
picture frame, No perimeter and picture frame, No perimeter and square
molding,
and an option for No molding.
