File Cabinets

The lateral file is no longer hidden away in a back room or hallway: it has moved closer to the user, it is part of the office decor.
While the metal drawers do the job, the laminate frame and drawers fronts - finished to match the rest of the furniture - make all the difference...
Each file cabinet is equipped with a general lock, as well as a safety mechanism that prevents two drawers from being opened simultaneously. The levelers are adjustable from the inside; in fact, a horizontal level is built into the cabinet base.

Specifications:
Lateral files are available in all colors and wood grain finishes shown on the Color Choice Page. They may also be ordered in two tone combinations. Specify finish for drawer fronts first, followed by case finish. Note that the full width handles are finished in Anthracite Grey in all cases. The frame and drawer fronts are made entirely of pressed wood, with a laminate finish.

Drawers are black enamel 18-gauge steel, mounted ona fully progressive ball-bearing suspension with a 200lb. load capacity. Each drawer comes with a set of suspension bars for lateral filing (letter or legal), and a label holder.
